Under 14 training.

The U-14’s have got their training underway each Sunday at 9am. The management were delighted with the turn out last Sunday as 25 youngsters took to the field. Keep this up lads. Bring trainers also if the rain is heavy.

The U14’s were presented with their new personalised training gear, which I’m sure all parents will agree looks very smart and professional!

PLEASE NOTE UNDER 14 training has now been switched to a Thursday evening. If it is raining the hall is free.

Hope to get a challenge match this week with the Feile na nog starting in February.

Seniors.

Early reports from the camp are excellent. Great training and a real buzz about the place.

Club 180

Please note money is now due for Club 180. Please send in your money for the coming year as soon as possible.

Disappointing night for Derry in the McKenna cup final against Tyrone going down by 3 pts. Paddy played a captains part taking some great scores in the first half, the harsh sending off of James Conway and the early injury picked up by Gerard was just a step too far in Derry’s hope of retaining the McKenna Cup. Wishing Gerard a speedy recovery, hopefully he will be fit for the Galway game.

Work has started at the community centre with the new 3G pitch also to be started next month.

Club Membership

Please note all membership is now due. Please see a member of the committee for payment. £20 per adult.

Club Lotto

Let’s all get behind the lotto. This is an inexpensive way of supporting the running of the club. If everybody would target selling 5-10 tickets each week it could be a great success. Please see Gerard Heaney for further information. Tickets are available for collection in the bar.

Minors

The Minors have started training again for the year. We wish them and their management all the best for the year ahead. Look out for forthcoming fixtures.
